KSI was the centre of a controversy following his actions at a Eurogamer event in 2012, raised after he appeared at the Xbox One launch party in London. With the reasoning of the controversy due to supposed sexual harassment on attendees of the event, Microsoft cut ties with the video game commentator, and he was banned for life from the Eurogamer Expo. A message from KSI’s manager states “Sexism is not something he condones or wants to be associated with. He wishes to apologise for any offence the video of 15 months ago may have caused in the short time it was on his YouTube channel, references to it since and subsequently used by other people. In recent months, he has also been actively avoiding certain content seen in the distant past and wants to be judged on the great content and value he gives to brands and partners, without controversy.

Recently KSI has “Quit” Youtube after gaining 16,159,117 subscribers. Yes that is a lot. KSI’s last tweet was about 6 months ago simply saying “Gone”. This made people wonder if KSI would come back to Youtube. Being one of his many subscribers and many fans was devastated on the news that KSI has left Youtube, Blanking his twitter account and his Youtube picture was just weird. After all this time KSI has finally posted a video about what he has been doing and apparently he has been learning but a lot of learning. On KSI’s Twitter he has posted that he is coming back on the 30th of June. I actually can’t wait until that happens because KSI is a big part of Youtube and an inspiration for others to follow there dreams. Youtube isn’t the same with out KSI Olajide BT.
